Cet article se propose d’envisager le rapport entre deprise et recit de soi comme source de continuite identitaire dans une perspective philosophique, en reference a la notion d’identite narrative de Paul Ricœur. Si le recit de soi permet de mettre en forme le temps que l’on vit sans supposer un noyau non changeant de l’identite, ce recit devrait favoriser le processus de deprise. Family is a crucial factor to determine the amount, the duration, and the complexity of children’s sport activities. This study aims at comparing the beliefs concerning the involvement in sport activities among parents of children with Down syndrome (DS) and parents of typically developing children (TDC). A phenomenological theoretical framework was adopted to realize semistructured interviews with the parents. The participants were 35 parents: 19 with children and adolescents with DS and 16 with TDC. Background People with intellectual disability have the same sexual needs as those without any disability, yet their sexuality is often restricted by reluctant attitudes and/or fears based on irrational beliefs. The aim of this study is to describe and analyse different areas of sexuality in adults with mild or moderate intellectual disability. This study investigates how and when psychodynamically orientated music therapists employ the analysis of musical material in both clinical work and research.
